Michael Potter began his formal training at Savannah College of Art and Design where he worked with National Geographic’s Kevin McCarey. It was this pivotal moment that Michael began to truly understand the beauty of nature and the power of film. In pursuit of his passion he has filmed for National Geographic, environmental NGO’s, Netflix doc’s and continues to hone in on remote survival, WFR training, Scuba, Drone and timelapse work. Michael recognizes that as our society evolves, humans tend to remove themselves from nature. His goal is to tell nature’s stories in a way that puts humans back in the narrative.
